Six months ago I decided to make a major upgrade to my Android strategy game Fate of an Empire. The whole project started with the idea of changing to hexagonal map tiles. They represent the world better than the squares I’ve used in all previous games. What I didn’t know six months ago was that I had to build a new graphics engine. While I was at it I also added a map editor, lots of new game mechanics and a new art theme for the user interface.

Today I’m ready to present my new game, Fate of an Empire – Age of War!
